Requesting an appointment

Appointments can be requested through this website, by phone at 586-612-7014, or by email at hair@themariasalon.com. Website requests capture your preferred service, date and time along with helpful details about your hair.

Confirmation

An online request is not a confirmed booking. The salon reviews every request personally and contacts you to confirm availability — you’ll receive an email recap when you submit, and a confirmation once your time is agreed.

Preparing for your visit

Any preparation specific to your service (for example, how to wash your hair beforehand) is confirmed when your appointment is booked. Our New Clients guide covers what to expect.

Arrival

Arriving a few minutes early lets you settle in and keeps your full appointment time for your hair. If you’re delayed, call us — see the Cancellation Policy.

Consultations

Every service begins with a brief consultation, and significant color work may call for a dedicated consultation visit first. There’s no obligation attached to a consultation.
